Netflix (NFLX) becomes front-running for Warner Brothers Discovery assets. Netflix is up a percent after being up more as Warner Brothers urges shareholders to vote for the Netflix deal even though Paramount has outbid Netflix for the company. Currently Paramount’s offer is worth $18 billion more, but some are concerned Paramount can’t afford the deal without becoming highly leveraged with debt. To be continued.

Homebuilder, Lennar (LEN) lower by 5% following earnings. The nation’s largest homebuilder missed earnings and provided disappointing guidance. Management said even as interest rates move lower in our fourth quarter, the overall housing market remains challenged with affordability challenges. Lennar expects new orders in a range from 18,000 to 19,000 in the first quarter and 17,000 to 18,000 for deliveries.
