United Airlines (UAL) profits soar thanks to first class customers. The stock is up 3% as earnings beat by 17 cents as sales rose 4.8% to $15.4 billion. Premium revenue rose 9% and 11% for the full year. Loyalty revenue rose 10% in the quarter and 9% for the year with strong momentum for both heading into 2026.
Netflix (NFLX) pulls back following earnings. The streaming giant is down 6% as earnings beat by a penny while sales rose 17% to $12.05 billion. Guidance for the first quarter was not great with operating margins and cash flow below expectations. Attempts to acquire Warner Brothers may be expensive and distract management in the short term.
