Housing stocks having a good day on possible rate cuts. D.R. Horton (DRI) and Lennar (LEN) are both up 5% as the Fed Chairman indicated he could cut interest rates as soon as September. Investors are hoping lower rates will spur housing demand. The financials are also having a good day with the sector up nearly 2%.

Workday (WDAY) not working so well today. The software firm is down 3% on earnings. The earnings were better than expected as sales rose 12% to $2.35 billion. But guidance was not great as AI is shifting demand to other products. The stock received two downgrades.
