Tyson Foods (TSN) jumps 4% on earnings and strong guidance thanks to booming chicken sales, in particular, nuggets and boneless breasts. Profit margins are also improving as livestock feed prices like grain have come down. Even with the stock up 4% today, the stock is still down 10% for the year. Beef business, which processes about a fifth of the U.S. supply is still producing losses as the U.S. cattle supply is at its lowest level in decades.

Berkshire Hathaway (BRKB) pulling back following earnings over the weekend and comments about tariffs. Berkshire is down 2% as earnings declined year over year due to lower insurance underwriting. Berkshire also went on to say President Trump’s newly imposed tariffs on goods from Mexico, Canada, and China pose a real threat to its businesses.
