Amazon (AMZN) wants to add groceries to its growing list of products to deliver. Amazon is up 3% as the owner of Whole Foods Market chain, is beginning same-day fresh grocery deliveries in more than 1,000 cities and towns nationwide, and plans to expand the service to over 2,300 by year’s end. Amazon has been trying to break into the trillion-dollar grocery market for years, to varying degrees of success.

Deere (DE) pulls back on lower earnings and guidance as they brace for trade tariffs going forward. After a strong run this year, the agriculture and construction machinery stock is down 6%. Deere actually beat expectations, but expects profits to slow due to tariffs and lower prices and profits for farmers.
