J&J (JNJ) jumps on earnings report. The drug giant is up 6% near all time highs after beating earnings and raising guidance. Revenues rose 5% year over year to $23.74 billion. J&J is facing patient expirations, but the company said they don’t need to acquire any drug companies to spur growth. Management also said tariff restrictions are less than feared, hence the raised guidance.

ASML (ASML) going in the wrong direction. The semiconductor equipment maker is down 8% on better than expected earnings, but lower guidance for the current quarter and full year. The foreign company based in Amsterdam said US tariffs may limit their growth in 2026.
