Kelloggs (KLG) jumps 30% as an Italian firm, Ferrero wanted to acquire the cereal company for $3.1 billion in an all-cash deal. If the deal goes through, shares of WK Kellogg common stock will no longer trade on the New York Stock Exchange. The company came public in 1952. End of an era.

Delta (DAL) jumps 12%, lifting the sector on strong earnings. Delta beat earnings by 4 cents as sales came in at $15.5 billion. The company resumed guidance as consumer bookings have stabilized and remain strong. Ticket revenue is up 5% year over year as loyalty program revenue is up 8% year over year.
