Oracle (ORCL) jumps on earnings. The software giant is up 14% after beating earnings by 6 cents as sales were dramatically higher, up 11% to $15.90 billion. The company was also bullish on guidance with strong demand for their cloud outlook and AI software products. Oracle is also better positioned than others regarding the trade tariffs.

Boeing (BA) drops 4% as one of their 11 year old 787 Dreamliners for Air India crashed shortly after takeoff in India carrying 242 passengers heading to London. This is the first deadly crash for a Boeing 787 Dreamliner since 2011. Boeing’s 737 Max 8 jet had two deadly crashes back in 2019.
