Merger Friday. Warner Brothers Discovery (WBD) jumped 6% agreeing to be acquired by Netflix in a $72 billion to create the largest streaming service with a storied studio that has produced films such as “Casablanca” and the “Harry Potter” franchise. The deal may take 12 to 18 months to close and would include the spin off the television and network division. Netflix (NFLX) dropped over 2% on the news, down 25% from 52 week high.
