Intel (INTC) rises 3% as Nvidia finalizes its $5 billion investment. The deal announced several months ago gave Intel a shot in the arm as they will get Nvidia’s AI technology and their graphic technology integrated into Intel’s PC chips.  Intel’s stock is up over 40% since the deal was announced last fall.

Tesla (TSLA) modestly higher on a year end upgrade. The analyst at Baird sees a number of catalysts in 2026 for the company including broader robotaxi rollout, new product launches, and incremental details on Optimus commercialization, as well as non-Telsa items such as a SpaceX IPO. They also expect the launch of the Tesla Semi in higher volumes and continued growth in the Energy business. The analyst believes Telsa should be a core holding for the new year.
