GE Vernova (GEV) is the diamond today, for the year and the last two years. The energy firm spin off from GE has surged the last two years, up 13% today and up 100% for the year. The  company reaffirmed current year guidance last night while also raising guidance going forward, hiked their dividend by 100% and increased their share buyback to $10 billion. Management said  GE Vernova is in the early chapters of an incredible value creation opportunity with a stronger financial trajectory ahead.

Profit-taking in Uber (UBER). The ride sharing giant is down 3.4% as Morgan Stanley lowered their price target to $110 a share while news out of Europe indicates the company is facing growing regulatory pressure. In Barcelona, nearly 1,500 taxi drivers blocked the city center to protest against Uber, supporting a proposed law that could nearly eliminate ride-hailing services by drastically cutting licenses.
