The major averages closed mixed with the Nasdaq closing at fresh highs as earnings keep flooding in. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell over 200 points or 0.62%. The S&P 500 was up 10 points while the Nasdaq rose 65 points or 0.32%.
The earnings keep flooding in from the likes of Alphabet, Allstate, Mobileye, Service Now Honeywell, Tesla, IBM, Textron and Union Pacific.
Google is leading the tech sector along with the other big cap techs. IBM and Tesla are two of the few large cap techs lower today.
Healthcare is weak as UnitedHealth Group is down 4% on an investigation into their billing practices form the government.
Oil and gas stocks are lower even as the price of oil is up today. Gold is down half a percent while bitcoin is up half a percent.
