Chicken Wing Surplus

Chicken Wing Surplus

Over the recent Super Bowl weekend, over 1.5 Billion chicken wings were eaten. Good for stocks like Sanderson Farms (SAFM) but bad for your cholesterol. As the government debates spending cuts and freezes this week, keep this in mind. If there are 300 million US citizens then each person in the country would have eaten 5 chicken wings over the Super Bowl weekend. 5 wings seem reasonable for the record setting viewing of the game. The US deficit is coming in at about 1.5 Trillion for 2011 alone. To understand the size of that number, that would be like everyone in the country, every man, women, and child eating 5000 chicken wings in a weekend. Once again, the size of these numbers that get thrown about are completely beyond rationale comprehension. To make a difference, it is going to have to hurt&Stocks continue to melt up as the positive news continues to flow from the street.
