Stocks see their ShadowIt is undeniable, we are going to have an early spring as Phil the ground hog saw his shadow on Wednesday, which only happens 20% of the time, guaranteeing the nice weather. It is also undeniable that the market is on a tear. January was the best opening month to a year since 1997. Not to be outdone, February has not had a down day yet. Interestingly, the first day of the month has now been positive for 13 of the last 15 months. Short term traders should buy at the close of every month until it doesn't work!
