Petco Health (WOOF) jumps over 30% after announcing a new partnership that brings Petco's pet essentials to the Uber Eats platform. Petco also reported fourth quarter results that were in line with estimates, but a loss. Sales fell 7% to $1.55 billion below estimates. Petco expects Q1 and full year revenue to be in single digit growth.
GM (GM) and Ford (F) are taking a hit on tariffs. GM is down 6% at a 10 month low while Ford is down 2% hovering near a four year low as the new imposed 25% tariffs on all automobile imports effective April 3. JPMorgan analyst expects GM to face a $10.5 billion tariff bill, which could rise to $13 billion over time. Ford could face a $2 billion bill that could gradually rise to $4.5 billion. Coincidently, Tesla is higher.
