Paychex (PAYX) stock jumps 4% on earnings, not far from all time highs. The local payroll and human resource company beat earnings estimates as revenue rose 4% to $1.51 billion. The company reaffirmed guidance. Paychex has performed well the last several years taking advantage of a trend as companies outsource operations, payroll and other things to experts like Paychex.

Nvidia (NVDA) takes a hit, down 6% on stricter environmental standards from China. The country's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) wants companies to use chips that meet its new efficiency standards. Nvidia's H20 chip doesn't make the cut. Ironically, China has 1,161 coal plants verse the US 204. China generates 50% of the global coal electricity and 95% of the new global construction is happening in China.
