Oil stocks, Occidental Petroleum (OXY) and Devon Energy (DVN) are up 5% and 8% following better than expected earnings. Oil stocks and International markets including China have quietly outperformed so far this year under the Trump administration. Occidental also raised their dividend and received positive news that Warren Buffett increased his stake in the firm.
Bumble (BMBL) drops 28% following earnings. The online dating site reported inline earnings, but then guided down for the first quarter. The stock is back toward its 52 week set in August last year. One sliver of hope is the company is bringing back the founder Whitney Wolfe Herd as its chief executive in March.
