Tyson (TSN) rose 6% thanks to strong earnings. The chicken company is up 6% after easily beating estimates as sales rose just 1.6% to $13.56 billion. Looking ahead to 2025, Tyson expects their chicken business to bring in a billion dollars in operating profits as inflation has come down for prices of soybeans and other feed for chickens along with lower freight costs.
Alibaba (BABA) fell 3% while JD.com (JD) fell 7% along with other Chinese stocks as President Trump has named Senator Marco Rubio as Secretary of the State which is expected to be tough or a hawk on China and potential tariffs.
