Boring is beautiful. Berkshire Hathaway rose a percent to a all-time high with a market cap of trillion dollars for the first time ever. CEO Warren Buffett will turn 94 on Friday came himself an early birthday present with his company's stock performance. Berkshire has been raising cash, $276 billion, of late as the markets moved back to all-time highs.

A dog for a second straight day is Super Micro Computer (SMCI) down 19% after falling over 2% yesterday on growing concerns of their accounting standards. After a market activities questioned the company's accounting yesterday, Super Micro came out today and said they plan to submit a Notification of Late Filing on Form 12b-25 on August 30, 2024. This doesn't mean the company really did anything wrong, but it definitely has investors spooked in the short term.
