Amazon (AMZN) up a percent on Cyber Monday. Adobe data expects cyber sales to grow 8% to over $12 billion. Wall Street Journal says Amazon's delivery business is expected to deliver 5.9 billion packages this year which could be larger than UPS and FedEx. Online orders for Black Friday rose 7.5% to $9.8 billion while Mastercard saw total Black Friday sales up 2.5% year over year, not adjusted for inflation. Rivals, Shopify (SHOP) is up 5% while Etsy (ETSY) is up 3%.
A record number of passengers, nearly 3 million people flew on Sunday did not help the airliners today. Most of the airline stocks were lower today with Frontier Group (ULCC) falling 5% not far from the 52-week low on insider selling.
