Boeing (BA) flying high. Boeing is up 6% to a nine-month high as Europe's largest budget airline, Ryanair placed an order to buy 75 of the much maligned 737 Max aircraft. The CEO for Ryanair said its going be the safest aircraft ever delivered. Yesterday, American Airlines was the first to fly the 737 Max with customers since March 2019.
Splunk (SPLK) goes splat. The real-time software solutions maker is down 21% to six-month low following disappointing earnings. Splunk missed earnings estimates, reporting a loss, as sales fell 10% also missing estimates. The company went on to lower guidance due to increase competition.
