Pfizer (PFE) and Moderna (MRNA) keep rising. Moderna's stock has jumped over 50% in the last week as the company inches closer to FDA approval of their COVID-19 vaccine. Pfizer gets the diamond of the day up 3%, hitting a new 52 week high, as they formally asked the European Union for regulatory clearance for their Covid-19 vaccine, putting it on track for potential approval there before the end of the year.
Zoom Video (ZM) losing steam. The stay at home video conference company is down 13% following earnings. Sales rose 366% to $772 million as profits easily beat. However, the profits were not as high as the whisper numbers due in part to higher costs. Competitors, Microsoft and Salesforce.com have Zoom in their crosshairs so 2021 may not be as kind to Zoom shareholders.
