Pfizer (PFE) and BioNTech (BNTX) filed with the FDA today for emergency authorization for its Covid-19 vaccine. The stocks are up 1.5% and 9% respectively. The two companies are hoping to rapidly roll out their COVID-19 vaccine next month to all parts of the globe. Pfizer says they are ready to supply and distribute around 50 million doses of the vaccine before year end.

Workday (WDAY) is not working. The cloud software maker is down 8% following earnings. Workday easily beat estimates as sales rose 18.3% to $1.11 billion. But then guidance was light as subscription backlog decelerated due in part to the pandemic and a second wave of Covid-19 virus potentially crimping corporate budgets.
