The tech titans reign. Apple (AAPL), Facebook (FB) and Amazon (AMZN) are all up 5% or more following earnings. Apple will split 4 for 1. Plenty of upgrades for the stocks which sit at or near all-time highs. Google/Alphabet (GOOG) is the lone tech titan lower following earnings.
Chevron (CVX) had a tough quarter. The oil giant is down 3% to a four-month low following disappointing earnings. Chevron wrote down $8.3 billion in assets mostly in Venezuela. Chevron went on to say demand will remain weak in the current quarter but expects a pickup by year end. Let's hope they are right. Exxon is lower following earnings as well.
