Moderna's (MRNA) vaccine seems to be working. The drug maker is up 12% after reporting positive data from an early trial of its experimental coronavirus vaccine. Moderna said the phase 1 trial of MRNA-1273, its proposed coronavirus vaccine candidate, induced antibody reactions in all 45 patient participants, with no serious side-effects, following two injections spanning a four-week period. The results open the door to a larger study of some 30,000 patients, set to being on July 27.

Banks without trading departments are struggling. Bank of New York Mellon (BK) is down 7% following earnings. Bank of New York Mellon reported a 2% increase in total revenue while earnings were flat year over year. The bank is seeing momentum across most of their businesses, but investors seem unimpressed.
