Nvidia (NVDA) surpasses Intel as the largest chipmaker. The graphic chipmaker is up 2% to new highs surpassing Intel with a market cap of $257 billion. For the year, Nvidia shares have gained 74% while Intel shares have slipped 2%, compared with a 11% gain in the PHLX Semiconductor Index. This is the third time Intel has been surpassed in the last 20 years for largest chip company. We'll see if the third time is a charm.

Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) lower following earnings. Walgreens is down 8% not far from a 52-week low following disappointing earnings. Walgreens misses estimates and then lowered guidance while also suspending their share repurchase program. On the plus side, Walgreens did raise the dividend giving the stock a yield of 4.8%.
