Gold having a good day. Gold is up one percent as gold miner, Newmont Goldcorp (NEM) is up 1.5% after updating their 2020 production numbers and announcing a billion dollar share buyback over the next year representing 3% of their outstanding shares. Newmont's stock has rallied 11.1% year to date, while the gold miner's ETF has run up 28.0% year to date.

Trump pouring cold water in the China trade deal. Trade related stocks like Caterpillar (CAT), Apple (AAPL) and Micron (MU) are all down over 2%. The semiconductor Index is down 2%. Delta (DAL) is down 2.8% after November load factors shows supply outpacing growth. Beyond Meat (BYND) is down 4% and down 68% from the July highs as a new analyst said he cannot recommend the stock due to sky high valuation. Not many stocks trading higher today.
