Chipmakers look good. Graphic chipmaker, NVIDIA (NVDA) is up 6% to a ten-month high thanks to an upgrade. Merrill Lynch upgraded the stock with a $250 price target. The analyst went on to say Nvidia data center growth is on the cusp of benefitting from the next-big AI landmark -- the ability to accurately listen, understand, speak and contextualize human speech, referred to as natural language processing (NLP)/conversational AI. Nvidia is in prime position to leverage its portfolio of hardware, software and developer ecosystem.

Yum Brands (YUM) not so yummy today. The owner of KFC, Taco bell is down a percent after recalling 2.3 million pounds of seasoned beef after a customer discovered a metal shaving in an order. The USDA said that there have not been any confirmed adverse reactions to Taco Bell's beef. All of the affected restaurants have pulled the beef. Maybe they should try the Beyond Meat.
