Diamonds and Dogs

A good day to be a retailer. Lululemon athletica (LULU) is jumping 15% following earnings. Watchmaker, Movado (MOV) is up 20% following earnings. Five Below (FIVE) is seven percent higher while PVH (PVH), the owner of Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Heritage Brands, is up 15% following earnings.
Nielsen Holdings (NLSN) getting bad ratings. The TV rating giant is down 10% after private-equity giant Blackstone Group bowed out of the bidding process citing Nelson's struggling financial problems. Another private-equity firm, Apollo Global may also be losing interest in the company. So much for a bidding war.
