It's hurricane season. Home Depot (HD) and Loews are up 2% as Hurricane Florence heads toward North Carolina. North Carolina officials today ordered residents to evacuate the state's Outer Banks barrier islands. Hurricane Florence is now a Category 3 hurricane with winds of 115 miles per hour and expected to hit land by Thursday. Home Depot is up 32% in the last year since Hurricane Irma hit Florida.

Apple (AAPL) may be paying more for their components. President Trump is upping the ante with more tariffs targeting China and in particular, components that go into Apple's iphones. President Trump tweeted and conceded that Apple products may get more expensive after tariffs but  as he mentioned the solution is to make products in the U.S. Apple is down 4% in the last two days, but up over 30% for the year.
