A windfall for BlackBerry (BBRY). The former high flyer cellphone maker is up 15% to a new 52 week high after receiving $814.9 million arbitration award in a dispute with Qualcomm. The sum which is equal to about 20% of its current market cap will be used to bolster its business. The question is what business?
Tractor Supply (TSCO) has too much supply. The agriculture retailer is down 6% to a new recent low after guiding first quarter earnings below consensus below estimates. Revenue is expected to come in light as well. The company said they are having a challenging quarter with respect to sales and margins. But seasonal merchandise sales should improve as they move further into the spring selling season.
