Military strike in Syria has gold and defense stocks trading higher. The U.S. launched missile strikes against a Syrian air base. Around 60 cruise missiles were launched at the al-Shayrat airfield, identified by the U.S. as the base from which a chemical attack was launched earlier this week. The attack by American destroyers USS Ross and Porter was the first time the U.S. has directly intervened in Syria's long-running civil war. Gold and defense stocks like Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.

Domino's Pizza (DPZ) is a little burnt. The pizza chain is down 5% after the company warned that first-quarter sales would be weaker than expected. Domino's, one of the strongest restaurant chains, posted same-store sales growth well above its rivals in the last quarter. It had the highest domestic same-store sales growth of the top 25 U.S. restaurant chains, with same-store sales up 12.2 percent in the fourth quarter.
