Stocks have shown new life this month as the Dow is up over 7% during the last 30 days. Today was no exception, as "green" was the color of money on most quote screens. Where do we go from here? Stocks have momentum, but the last two August-September stretches have been horrendous for equities. The news will become light for the rest of the summer, meaning only bad news will dominate the tape. If you have some trading gains, you may want to put the proverbial "hay in the barn" for a portion of it right now.
