Have you ever fed your pets a blue buffalo before? Blue Buffalo Pet Products (BUFF) surged 22% today thanks to better than expected earnings last night. The Connecticut based pet product company reported better than expected earnings and sales while also raising guidance for 2016. Along with the earnings beat, Deutsche Bank increased the company's price target to $25 from $22 a share.
Let me get pork, rice, beans, guacamole and a side of norovirus. Today's dog is back at it again with their norovirus issue as Chipotle Mexican Grill's stock (CMG) fell $18 or 3.44%. The well-known food chain had issues with E.coli and a norovirus last year. The stock has since rebounding thinking the issue was behind them, but once again an incident occurred in Boston as a few of their employees contracting the norovirus just this past week. No customers have reported that they have contracted the norovirus, but the company shut the store down immediately. Here we go again.
