Dover Saddlery Inc. (DOVR)

Dover Saddlery investors are riding the pony today, with the stock up 67.03% to $8.35. The equestrian product maker saw its shares take off after news it would be acquired by Webster Capital. Under terms of the deal, Webster Capital will acquire all of the outstanding shares of Dover for $8.50 per share in cash. At closing of the deal, all in-the-money stock options and warrants will be cashed out. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of fiscal 2015. Shares of Dover rallied $3.35 today and hit a new 52-week high of $8.43.

Pep Boys- Manny, Moe, & Jack (PBY)

Pep Boys has lost the pep in its step today, down 8.65% to $8.77. The automotive company saw its shares fall after reporting a fourth quarter loss last night. For the quarter, Pep Boys management announced that it lost $26.7 million or $0.50 per share (not including one-time gains or costs). Furthermore, for the year the company reported a loss of $27.3 million, or 51 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Shares of Pep Boys fell over $0.80 today but were able to hold above their 52-week low of $8.00.
