Prothena Corporation PLC (PRTA)
Prothena Corporation is painting the tape green today, up 32.26% to $38.66. The biotech company saw its shares rally after positive trial news. Prothena said that their drug PRX002 lowered levels of free serum alpha-synuclein up to 96% in healthy subjects. Alpha-synuclein is potentially involved in the onset and progression of Parkinson's. Shares of the company popped over $9.40 but did not reach its 52-week high of $48.46.
Erickson Incorporated (EAC)
Erickson Incorporated is crashing and burning today, down 13.30% to $4.63. The aviation service company saw its shares fall after news regarding its Board of Directors. Quinn Morgan resigned as Chairman of the Board of Directors on March 19th. The Board of Directors appointed Gary Scott as its Chairman. The co also disclosed that on March 19, 2015, Kenneth Lau resigned from the Company's Board of Directors, effective immediately. Shares of Erickson fell $0.71 today to a new 52-week low of $4.30 intraday.
