American Airlines Group Inc. (AAL)

American Airlines is soaring high today, up 6.99% to $53.73. The airline company saw its shares rally after news that it would join the S&P 500. American Airlines will replace Allergan which was recently acquired by Actavis. CEO Douglas Parker said that as the largest airline the company knew they would make it into the S&P 500 at some point but that this was quicker than they expected. Shares of American Airlines climbed over $3.50 today but are still slightly off of their 52-week high of $56.20.

MagicJack VocalTec Ltd. (CALL)

MagicJack is not looking magical today, down 18.48% to $6.66. The cloud based communication company saw its shares tank after reporting a fourth quarter loss. For the quarter, MagicJack management announced a loss of $3.8 million or a loss of $0.21 per share. For the same quarter last year, the company announced a profit. Shares of MagicJack slipped more than $1.50 today and hit a new 52-week low of $6.50 intraday.
