Celldex Therapeutics Inc. (CLDX)

Celldex Therapeutics is trading in the green today, up 28.60% to $18.21. The biopharmaceutical company saw its shares take off after positive results from its trials. During its mid-stage brain tumor trial, Celldex found that when its drug, rindopepimut, was combined with Roche's drug Avastin, tumor growth was slowed down and patients saw extended survival rates. Celldex organized the study for rindopepimut to be exploratory rather than for seeking regulatory approval, but the positive results led the company to say it is considering meeting with the FDA. Shares of Celldex climbed over $4.00 today but are still well off of their 52-week high of $33.33.

DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. (DWA)

DreamWorks investors are going to be having nightmares after shares fell 14.22% to $22.32. The animated film company saw its shares fall after talk of a merger with Hasbro fell through. The potential merger had investors buzzing, but today that buzz is over. The potential deal stalled out after DreamWorks CEO stated they would only accept a deal that valued DreamWorks at $30-$35 per share. Hasbro was not interested in cutting a deal in that range. Shares of DreamWorks fell nearly $4.00 today but were able to hold above their 52-week low of $19.20.
