Comtech Telecommunications (CMTL)

Comtech Telecommunications is flying high today, up 17.49% to $38.76. The telecommunications company specializing in advanced communications solutions saw its shares climb after the increased revenue and earnings from its third quarter of the fiscal year were made public. This improvement in revenue turned out better than expected at $88.9 million. This posted revenue as well as their good cash flow from global operations were strengths that we taken into account by investors. Confidence in the company grew from their posted earnings as well as their positive outlook on the end fiscal year ahead, which is now expected to be in the revenue range of $342 million to $346 million.

Rally Software (RALY)

It is finally baseball season but there is no rally in Rally Software. Rally Software established in 2001, offers cloud computing-based solutions for managing Agile software development. Rally Software shares fell close to 30% today, which may be caused by the lower expected revenue than what was previously projected. Rally Software was projected about 22.5 million in revenue this quarter but the company expects only 20-21 million in revenue. Rally Software is expecting 30 million less in revenue this year than what was previously projected. As previously stated it looks like there is no rally in Rally Software.
