B/E Aerospace Inc. (BEAV)

B/E Aerospace is soaring today, up 9.29% to $97.22. The cabin interior product company saw its shares jump after announcing it was looking to sell itself and may sell some of its assets of its German airplane seat maker Recaro. News of the sale came after B/E Aerospace management cancelled its investor meeting today. The company said it is also interested in a possible merger or spinning off one of its businesses. Shares of B/E Aerospace were up nearly $8.30 today, and set a new 52-week high of $100.25 intraday.

Tyson Foods Inc. (TSN)

Tyson Foods is getting cooked today, down 9.89% to $38.43. The prepared food company saw its shares fall after a glaring fact coming from their earnings report. Tyson warned that it expected overall domestic protein production for the year to decrease around 1% in part because of lower hog supplies. The news seems to have scared off investors although the company had good earnings that exceeded analyst estimates. Shares of Tyson fell over $4.20 today, but managed to stay well above their 52-week low of $23.39.
