The Fresh Market Inc. (TFM)

The Fresh Market isn't looking so fresh today, down 11.59% at $47.99. The specialty grocery retailer saw its shares fall after missing estimates on its earnings. For the second quarter, management announced that it earned $15.6 million, or $0.32 per share, which was in line with analyst estimates. Revenue rose 13 percent to $354.8 million from $313 million, but missed Wall Street's expectation of $355.8 million. For the full year, the company said that it expects earnings ranging from $1.50 per share to $1.55 per share. That's below the $1.57 per share that analysts were expecting, Shares of Fresh Market lost over $6.00 today but are still well above their 52-week low of $36.51.

Guess Inc. (GES)

Guess what stock is doing well today? Guess Inc. is doing great today up 12.87% at $30.82. The fashion apparel retailer saw its shares jump after better-than-expected earnings. Guess management released that revenue was up 0.6% to $639 million, and that the company had an EPS of $0.52. Both numbers topped analysts' estimates of $622.9 million and $0.36 respectively. Guess CEO Paul Marciano said, "The earnings not only reflect the achievement of our revenue expectations for the quarter, but also the benefits of our expense management and cost control efforts" Guess shares are trading in their 52-week range of $22.48-$31.23.
