SunEdison Inc. (SUNE)

SunEdison isn't shining today, down 24.05% at $7.39. The photovoltaic energy company saw its shares fall after releasing earnings. For the second quarter, SunEdison announced an adjusted EPS of negative $0.19, which is a loss of $25.2 million. Analysts were expecting a loss of $0.14 per share. Revenues for the quarter also took a huge hit, falling around 50% to $401.3 million. Management blamed the poor quarter on a global glut and lower demand from Europe. SunEdison shares are still well above their 52-week low of $2.15.

Live Nation Entertainment Inc. (LYV)

Live Nation is entertaining its investors today, up 12.25% at $18.32. The concert promoter and ticket seller saw its shares jump after a better than expected earnings report. Live Nation said concert attendance rose 8 percent to 15.3 million worldwide. It sold 36.3 million tickets mainly through its Ticketmaster subsidiary. The company saw net income jump to $58.1 million or $0.30 per share on revenue of $1.68 billion. Analysts' were expecting Live Nation to have an EPS of $0.10 on revenues of $1.62 billion. Shares of Live Nation hit a new 52-week high of $18.38 intraday.
