Salesforce.com (CRM) rises on strong guidance. The software firm beat by 39 cents as sales rose 9% to $10.39 billion. Agentforce and Data 360 were the main drivers of growth. Combined annual recurring revenue for these products reached nearly $1.4 billion, rising 114% year over year, with Agentforce alone surpassing half a billion dollars. Longer term, Salesforce hopes Agentforce will exceed $60 billion in organic revenue by 2030.
Snowflake (SNOW) is the dog even as snow is in the air. The cloud data analytics company topped earnings and sales estimates, with a boost from AI-driven demand, but gross margins were below expectations as Snowflake is also spending heavy to keep up with changes in the AI space. Oppenheimer analyst reiterated an “outperform” with a $295 price target. Morgan Stanley and Bank of America also reiterated bullish ratings, anticipating room for AI-driven growth long term.
