Nike (NKE) rebounds following earnings. Nike has had a tough year or two, but the stock is looking better after beating earnings estimates while sales only grew 1% to $10.99 billion. North American sales grew 4% to $5 billion. The company’s new management team is working to rectify the business by cleaning out inventories to stock up on new styles and fixing relationships with wholesale partners. Nike expects a bumpy ride in its turnaround.

Reddit (RDDT) takes a hit, down 9%, extending a 5% decline from the previous trading session amid new data that showed the use of its content in leading AI chatbot ChatGPT had plummeted in mid-September. Reddit content was cited in just 2% of ChatGPT responses on Tuesday, much lower than the 9.7% of ChatGPT responses that cited Reddit the previous month, according to data from AI search engine tracker Promptwatch.
