Good day to be bullish. A digital spot and derivatives exchange called, Bullish (BLSH) came public today, rising over 100% from its IPO price. The CEO is Tom Farley, former president of Intercontinental Exchange, who ran the NYSE while billionaire, Peter Thiel was an early investor who helped launch the company.
Investors taking a bite out of Cava (CAVA). The restaurateur is down 15%, its worse day as a publicly traded stock, following earnings, disappointing same store sales and disappointing guidance due to short term slowing demand and higher costs. Management is still bullish long term as they opened 16 net new restaurants in the quarter, and it expects to open 68 to 70 for the full year, up from an earlier forecast for 64 to 68 net new restaurants.
