UnitedHealth Group (UNH) is up 3% to start July as money rotates back into the healthcare space while profit-taking hits the tech sector. No good news to report. UnitedHealth is actually getting dropped from a number of Russell growth indices. Pfizer, J&J, Merck, Amgen and Bristol are all up over 2% today as well.
Not a good start to the new quarter for Tesla (TSLA). Tesla is down 7% as demand and deliveries for their electric vehicles will be below expectations and may persist in the third quarter. President Trump did not like that and in turn said DOGE should take a “good hard look” at subsidies to Elon Musk’s companies. Here we go again.
