Merger Wednesday, Kellanova, the marker of Pringles and Cheez-IT is jumping 7% on news Mars confirmed it will acquire Kellanova for $83.50/share in cash deal. Kellanova was spun out of cereal maker Kellogg last year. The deal is a sign that big food companies are willing to pay up to increase their snacking portfolios.

Google (GOOG) has seen better days. The defacto search engine is down 2% as the Justice Department is considering breaking up Google, according to a report from Bloomberg. This comes after the tech giant lost a key antitrust case earlier this month, where a court ruled that Google monopolizes online search.
