United States Steel (X) jumps 30% rejecting a takeover offer from rival Cleveland-Cliffs to create one of the world's biggest steelmakers. US Steel instead will begin a review of its strategic options. Even Cliff's stock is higher by 9% as the deal with US Steel would catapult Cliffs into the ranks of the top producers globally, a list dominated by China.

Tesla (TSLA) modestly lower after cutting prices in China once again signaling demand erosion for RVs in the country. China remains the largest EV markets in the world. Rivals, Nio and Rivian are lower as well today.
